Hope Real Estate Group of Webster, Ma. is an independent non-franchised real estate service corporation, founded in 2006 by Sharon & Bryan Pelletier. Prior to the founding of Hope Real Estate Group, Bryan & Sharon were owner/partners in a franchised real estate sales business that specialized in Webster Lake real estate sales. Bryan and Sharon have successfully represented many a satisfied seller & buyer client. As far as Webster Lake realty is concerned, one thing is for sure, it is always in demand! It is primarily made up of single family waterfront homes and lake neighborhoods, with homes that sometimes have lake access and/or lake views. Some of these Webster Lake neighborhoods are Killdeer Island, Bates Point, Lakeside, Colonial Park, Loveland, Point Breeze, Union Point, Point Pleasant, to name a few. There are currently three (3) condominium complexes on the shores of Webster Lake. They are the Snug Harbor Villas, Treasure Island and Beacon Park. Each one has an interesting origin and history, all of its own!

Webster Lake, a/k/a/ the famous Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg, is by far the largest natural lake in Massachusetts. It is located entirely in the Town of Webster, MA, in Southern Worcester County.

 

Webster Lake is approximately 1,240 acres, and is a combination of three lakes known as North Pond, Middle Pond & South Pond, which are joined by fully navigable channels. Webster Lake has about 17 miles of shore line, and 7 islands. It is about a mile wide across Middle Pond and about 3 miles long. Its natural beauty is truly stunning! It is not uncommon to catch sight of majestic bald eagles, gracious blue herons, migratory water fowl of all types, as well as turtles, and other fabulous creatures.

Webster Lake was once the central gathering place for Nipmuc Indians. The origin, translation, & the proper spelling of the lake’s famous name are always a fun topic of discussion. Today, Webster Lake is served by several lakefront marinas & restaurants, and a well-known campground /music venue, (see links below). There is much to do on this large full recreational lake! The traditional water activities are always an option, like swimming, sailing, iceboating, kayaking, motor boating, waterskiing, fishing, & so much more! Webster Lake’s Memorial Beach has been the site of many a spectacular 4th of July firework event, & Indian Ranch hosts some of the greatest names in Country Music as well as other forms of first class entertainment! Webster Lake is conveniently located along 3 exits of I-395 in Webster, just 10 minutes to the Mass Pike (I-90) in Auburn, and about 50 miles SW of Boston. It is about an hour to 4 major cities, including Boston, Springfield, Providence, & Hartford. It’s easy to get here without the hassle of high-volume weekend traffic delays, like many other vacation destinations.
